Cho Yiu Village
Cho Yiu Village is located in Lai King Hill, Kwai Chung. It was built between 1976 and 1981 and designed by P&T. It was named in memory of Sir Joseph Kwan, a founding member of the Housing Society. The eight buildings in the village are built on the hillside, with different heights and adopting a unique split-level design. The Kai King Building is 38 stories high and was once the tallest public housing building in the world. It is the first public housing estate in Hong Kong with a swimming pool and won an architectural award for its beautiful environmental design.
