Lai Yan Court is located on Lai King Hill Road, Lai Chi Kok. It was completed in 2001 and consists of three 40-storey buildings, providing 1,920 Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) flats. It was developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The original site of the estate was the Lai Chi Kok Playground, adjacent to Wah Lai Village, and within walking distance of Mei Foo Station. The building adopts a light pink exterior wall design and is built against the mountain to form a staggered visual effect. It is a typical representative work of the HOS development in the millennium.
