Wah Fu Estate is located on Wah Fu Road, Pokfulam, South District, Hong Kong Island. It was completed between 1967 and 1970. It has 21 buildings in a long and twin-tower design. It is the first public housing estate on Hong Kong Island. The village is built on the hillside, enjoying views of the South China Sea and Ap Lei Chau Strait, and the design incorporates the topographical features. As an important milestone in the development of public housing in the 1960s, Wah Fu Estate witnessed the historical process of the expansion of Hong Kong's public housing from Hong Kong Island.
