Sam Shing Village
Sam Shing Village is located in Sam Shing Market, Tuen Mun. It was built in 1980 and consists of three buildings, including Fung Yu Building and Jin Yu Building, which are named after the fishing village. The village is home to fishermen who come ashore to live. It is close to Sam Shing Temple (a Grade II historic building built in 1921) and the Castle Peak Bay Promenade. The original site was the reclamation area of Castle Peak Bay, witnessing the development of Tuen Mun's new town and the changes in the traditional fishing village culture.
