Xiangshan Village
Located in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Cheung Shan Village was built in 1978-1979 and designed by Mr. Liu Ben-wai, former Director of Housing. It has three buildings covering an area of 2.79 hectares and a total population of about 4,700. The village is close to Shing Mun Reservoir and Shing Mun Valley, with a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As a relatively small public housing estate in Tsuen Wan, Cheung Shan Village showcases the design features of public housing in the 1970s and witnesses the development of public housing in Hong Kong.
